Prior to this new release, Candice has put pen to paper again and again, diving in to the depths and raw details of her own life experiences. As Pop songwriter guided by her own personal truth, she shares her stories and reflections, reaching out to listeners that may need to hear someone say “I’ve been there too.”
Her most recent singles combine infectious hooks and powerful vocal performances with Electro-Pop textures and hard hitting beats. Co-written and produced by multi-platinum producer and songwriter Rob Wells (Arianna Grande, Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado, Justin Bieber), these singles paint honest portraits of her experiences in overcoming an eating disorder, being unable to say ‘I love you’, and being a woman in a male dominated industry (and world).
She was first introduced to audiences with the release of her debut EP “Against Concrete Walls” co-written and produced by the Grammy nominated team Kuya Productions INC (Alessia Cara, JRDN, Christina Aguilera). The EP is a collection of bubble gum Pop singles with inspiring lyrical themes of following your dreams, never giving up, and falling in love. It also featured collaborations with Juno award winning multi-platinum artists JRDN & Choclair.
The EP’s release brought with it many career milestones. Candice toured across Canada, had singles featured on radio stations across the country, and her music video for the single “Go On” feat JRDN appeared in regular rotation on Jukebox TV/CTV for two years, supported by Much/MuchMusic/Bell Media.
Candice has remained an avid performer, stepping onstage for 100+ performances annually. Over the years, she has also been a guest performer at many notable events including the David Foster Miracle Gala where she had the privilege of performing on stage with multi-Grammy award winning producer David Foster.
